In Memory of Tony Treml
I grew up trout fishing. My dad taught me how with spinners and worms. I was a teenager before I realized that when someone said "trout", that they could possibly be talking about something other than brookies. I still hold brook trout in very high regard. After retiring from 12+ years as a Scoutmaster I needed to do something with my newly found spare time. Ryan Hagan promptly recruited me into an active role with Trout Unlimited as Stream
Improvement Coordinator. My regard for brook trout led to the Whitcomb Creek Project. I am very thankful for T rout Unlimited, which has allowed me to give a little back to all those brookies. Tony Treml.

Tony Treml passed away this third week of December 2007. Fox Valley Trout Unlimited grieves the loss of one of its major contributors. He will be missed greatly.   A memorial is being established in Tony’s honor.
