Bruce Smith Introduction
Bruce retired in 2007 after 32 years teaching high school science. He currently teaches meteorology for the University of Wisconsin Colleges and Marian University. Bruce serves as an Atmospheric Education Resource Agent for the American Meteorological Society. Bruce is an avid fisherman, fishing about 120 days each year. On the darker side, he has kept a record of every fish he has caught since high school. His life goal is to catch fish on every continent since he has the tough one, Antarctica, covered.
Bruce currently lives in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin with his wife Pam, their dog, and his boat.
Presentation
Tight Lines: Using Internet Weather Products to Enhance Your Fishing Experience.
The presentation will focus on the use of readily available National Weather Service products and other Internet sources to more effectively plan your future fishing trips. The presentation will cover examples of specific species at particular times of the year including Spring walleyes, Summer smallmouth, and Fall salmon. The goal is to make your fishing experience more interesting, fun, safer and, hopefully, more productive.
